Terms of Agreement and Conditions
I am happy you have looked through my painting examples online or at an art fair and have decided to seek a commissioned painting from me.
A free consultation gives you the size, elements to be included, deadline and price.
Once you decide to continue, an agreement in the form of an invoice will be emailed to you, listing all the elements we discussed.
A deposit of half the total price is required before I begin your painting. This confirms you have read and agree with both the invoice and this Terms of Service and Conditions Statement.
A painting has some degree of interpetation by the artist and I am willing to allow for up to two rounds of final adjustments before varnishing. If after two rounds, you remain unsatisfied, additional charges will apply for further work.
Copyright for the final painting image is the property of Paintings By Julie Stevns, LLC and will be posted on its social media.
If the fit isn't right, I'll say so directly. No holding a deposit until both sides are clear on what the painting will be.
